Our Unity Lab Services team offers three levels of service for pipettes.

Basic - Validation-Fast Check

The Validation-Fast Check Plan combines a thorough external pipette inspection with gravimetric validation to determine if desired accuracy and precision is achieved. This plan includes a validation pass/fail report. This offering is designed for customers that:

  • Need an interim validation check that occurs in-between routine scheduled preventive maintenance and calibration
  • Dropped, disassembled, or just want to know if their pipettes are performing as desired
  • A cost-friendly service option

Preferred - Preventive Maintenance and Calibration

The Preventive Maintenance and Calibration Plan provides a thorough inspection, preventive maintenance, minor repairs and calibration. This plan includes a calibration certificate and sticker. This offering is ideal for customers that:

  • Does not require as-received data
  • Requires pipette inspection, liquid leak test, routine preventive maintenance and minor repairs (as needed)
  • Calibration

Premium - GxP Preventive Maintenance and Calibration

The GxP Preventive Maintenance and Calibration Plan provides a comprehensive service which includes gravimetric evaluation of your pipette’s performance prior to any inspection, preventive maintenance, or minor repairs. This plan includes a calibration certificate and sticker. This offering is designed for customers that:

  • Requires as-received data
  • Requires pipette inspection, liquid leak test, routine preventive maintenance and minor repairs (as needed)
  • Calibration
  • Work in a regulated environment where it’s critical that their pipettes are always accurate and precise
  • Need to minimize costly OOTs (Out of Tolerance) that could invalidate research

For fast, convenient pipette service, register online for a FREE return kit to be mailed to you. Kits include:

  • Pipette Service Return Form
  • Pipette Service Decon Form
  • Insulated foam box to protect pipettes during shipment
  • Prepaid FedEx Airway Bill (ensures arrival in 1-2 business days and shipping charges are prepaid by Unity Lab Services)
